Today was the first of many wedding fayres which we are due to attend this year. It was at The Mere resort and Spa in their James braid suite.
Wedding fayres are attended by all kinds of brides to be at all different stages of their planning. A florist is usually considered half way through the planning process once the wedding venue and wedding dress has been chosen. A wedding fayre is the ideal place to come and hold sample bouquets, which will help you decide whether you would like a shower bouquet of orchids or a hand tied bouquet of roses.
Our most popular bouquet at any wedding fayre is the rose hand tied. Today at The Mere wedding fayre we took a selection of table arrangements including a gold fish bowl arrangement. We also had samples of ideas for bridesmaid flowers including a wand, a wrist corsage and smaller versions of the brides bouquet.
Attending a wedding fayre is the ideal way to compare florists and look at their work. That way you can decide between your gerbera bridesmaid bouquets and your freesia corsages.
The wedding fayre today was a great chance for brides to be to get ideas, compare suppliers and book services for their big day.
